At The Playhouse we thoroughly enjoy passing on our skills and knowledge to others. There is too much fear about BDSM, that it has to be about a scary woman thrashing a man to within an inch of his life. If that's what you're into then that's great for you, but if not it doesn't have to be anything like that.

BDSM can be whatever you want it to be. It can be tying your lover to the bed, teasing them with feathers, silk, and other sensations. Or it can be a bit of over the knee spanking using your hands or maybe a paddle, crop or flogger. Or it can be part of your social life - going to fetish events all over the UK and meeting people into similar things and maybe having a play or watching others. Or it can be taken further to explore the relationship between endorphins and pain, aiming to achieve a natural endorphin high. Above all BDSM is all about having FUN in a safe, sane and consensual manner.

Kitana and Akasha have been teaching couples and groups about the basics and more advanced techniques of BDSM for several years at fetish events throughout the UK - from running the fetish seminars at the Erotica show in London for 3 years, to three TV appearances. Whilst not claiming to know everything (a good Domme knows there is always more to learn) we do have considerable knowledge and skills on most aspects of BDSM.

Whether you want to find out how to play safely and have fun in the bedroom with BDSM, or where to meet other couples/people into BDSM, or where your nearest SM club is and how to go about your first visit, or you want to advance your existing skills please contact us!

If you just have a simple question email us and if we can help we will, or if not we will try to direct you to someone who can. If you are interested in a more extensive chat about BDSM, or would like to meet in person for us to train you on any level from kinky fun at home to how to be a Mistress or Master please get in touch. For in person training/workshops there will be a fee - which will be set in advance. 

We also sell all the equipment you would need to pursue things after the workshop (to view online some of what's available look at our for sale page)  - these items will be available at a reduced rate at the workshop. If there is sufficient demand  we will be offering group workshops where the fee will be lower - alternatively if you have a group of friends who want to attend a workshop there would be a group booking discount.

When you arrive for a workshop you will first be given plenty of time to chat and get to know us and ask any questions you wish. When you are feeling more relaxed and have all the information you wish we shall enter the dungeon where you will be taught any practical skills you wish to acquire. These will be demonstrated, then, as a couple you will get to try these new skills with supervision. If you wish to bring your own equipment this is fine, alternatively you can use ours for no extra charge. You will then get plenty of time to relax and practice and enjoy yourselves.
